Calling all entrepreneurs?

Calling all entrepreneurs
This is a joke is it not??? Business people getting together to share ideas?? Get something straight here, in business the only time anybody wishes you well is when you're terminally ill....and no more threat to anyone. Nobody in their right mind wilfully supports a competitor. Before one knows it he's out of business...thanks to competition. To survive one must provide goods or services that are vital to the economy and the needs of the people. But too much competition dilutes the market and the profits...which is why many business' fail within the first 30days i.e. retail and food. One must develop a market that revolves around him only. People want to deal with a professional that will supply them with a 100% perfect result. If one fails to make a perfect "1st impression" that will pretty much be the end, particularly in tight market conditions. When the market (the people)  becomes familiar and comfortable with an individual it then becomes important to concentrate on ensuring that the customer base now can't do without you...they now depend on you. It is vital that one's service or product(s) achieves "critical mass", my explanation of "critical mass" is that once 20% of a market is acquired then much of the remaining market will naturally gravitate towards that service or product provider. This is not done over night and one must totally devote himself to whatever business he becomes involved in. There are many sleepless nights and not too many days off. And the legalities/responsibilities/liabilities are endless. This country is not very accommodating to business. The excessive, crippling regulation that nobody understands, is enforced by impractical zealots interested only in exercising authority over hard working citizens. This regulation does nothing for the common man and discourages the start-up of any business. Then there's the unions and the Labor Relations Board. There's W.S.I.B. (in all their infinite wisdom). And then we have the "environmental wack jobs" and their fiscally destructive agenda. Let's not forget the local police either...they may see a situation unfolding in a manner unfamiliar to them resulting in a "pull over", they'll waste a company's time while investigating if any laws are being violated then when they have nothing to base a charge on they say carry on...never mind the $500.00 in wages it just cost to have two employees sit idle and unproductive on the side of the road. And to top off  the "Welcoming Committee" there is the inspirational Crown Prosecutor, the almighty ambassador of righteousness who is right there to slap a hard working "ENTREPRENEUR" with "Criminal Negligence" sanctioned by The Criminal Code of Canada under the direction as noted in Bill C45. After one has overcome all of these hurdles he is still faced with the fact that he's doing business in Sault Ste. Marie Canada...it's like jumping into a blender and dodging the blades from the time one gets out of bed in the morning until the time he goes to sleep at night....or whenever one can find the time to sleep.
Ahh yes calling all entrepreneurs for an inspirational group hug and share ideas that generate unimpeded, endless  profits.
The only way one survives in business today is by ruthless efficiency. This is a different world today. It's not enough to be successful...one must be "exceptional".

P.S. The media in this city, including Sootoday.com, is pathetic. One not need to look very far to see why we have "low information voters" in this community. The sootoday is nothing more than an on-line, left wing tabloid devoid of traditional values...also devoid of NEWS.
