Obama deserted an ally.

The manchild president, Barack Hussein Obama, abandoned a very important ally in the Middle East and in doing so has deserted the last bastien of democracy as well, Israel. Everyone knows that Mubarack was not an angel and reforms were iminent but still he was the last barrier between muslim extremists and Israel. Egypt was also the custodian of the Suez canal.
Obama should never have made (stupid) public statements re. Mubarack's inevitable exit instead he should have offered to broker a deal with the people of Egypt and Mubarack's successor. Now the "Muslim Brotherhood" comes into the picture and it's not going to be pretty.
When you look at what the Arab's have done for the world, I mean really look at what they've done you have to sit back and realize what the Arab's have done TO the world.
They brought us cheap oil...that's it. All the billions of $$$$ they've reaped from the industrialized and civilized West and they couldn't do anything with it other than to give themselves 24crt toilets, door handles and floor tile. They've maintained the age old customs of stoning, cutting out of tongues, piercing eyes and pouring the precious molten metal down the throats of apostates and infidels. 70 year old religious leaders taking girls as young as 9 years of age as brides because they are "clean" and fathers who can kill their daughter's out of honour. This is what the Arabs have brought to the world...this is the world that fanatical islam has convinced the liberal left in our countries to support and endorse.
If anybody thinks for one minute that this unease in Egypt is about liberty and freedom for the impoverished masses they had better think hard about what the world has been dealing with for over a millennium.

The Great Sage
When Obama, the man child speaks it's time to plug your ears.

Instead of being happy that a despot has been stopped you are pissed off. Why? Is your hatred so all consuming that you can not even find anything nice to say about the end of a 30 year dynasty of tyranny and abuse. Is it not a good thing that 80 million people took to the streets in a peaceful revolt demanding a chance at freedom and democracy! Who cares about Israel - in the big picture -maybe a democratic ally will benefit Israel and might influence the spread of such throughout the Middle East. Is it at all possible that as democracy grows the tight grip of religion might be released even a little? That alone should have you screaming with joy. For you seem consumed with fear and paranoia of Islam and Muslems - No? We, should be proud and supportive of anything that even resembles freedom and or freedom of thought, expression and the freedom to hope. It is vitaly important that all democraticies and democratice movements avoid, at all costs, regressing (as the U.S. is presently doing)into a neo-con, born-again, evangelical, right-wing, anal, intollerant and closed-minded, gun-toting mob of illiterate white trash activists. These are the very people to be feared and paranoid of. For the record: knowledge of the history of the Persian Empire, the Moors and the ancient Muslem world will certify that modern mathematics, architecture, culture, astronomy, medicine, literature to list only a few, have moulded and in many ways formed the foundations of present day knowledge. Was it not Saladin who introduced 'ice' to the thirsty Christian soldiers who marched in total defeat against his forces loosing Jerusalem for the last time to the armies he led during the Crusades? You are too harsh and allow your hatred to blind you to the possitive aspects of what just happened in Egypt. Maybe,a little fairness and equality will have to be accorded to the Palestinian people, now that Mubarak no longer can be paid off by the U.S. to ensure the American-Israeli compact be protected by his regime. This may turn out to be the best thing to have happened in the Middle East since Saladin defeated the Crusaders and returned Jerusalem to its rightful and historical owners. If fear alone determines a close-minded view of what happened in Egypt then, let fear make you close-minded to the new born-again movement in the U.S. because, if you think Islam is a negative thing just wait until the likes of John Boner, Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Glen Beck,Bill O'Reilly, Ted Neugent and the rest of the idiots take political control in the U.S. - you will pray for the return of Barak Hussein Obama!!!!!

Just to inform you Anonymous in case you were blinded by your peace loving ideal and missed it...there is now military rule in Egypt and the military is not interested in creating and economy they only want to maintain power and repress the masses. Look at Pakistan and the other Stan's. History is made every second that passes...we will see where history takes us beyond this point. The Great Sage

And the same military overthrew Anwar Sadat after signing a peace deal with Israel. I remember as plain as the 180 grain bullets that are fitted to my high velocity 30cal. rounds the day Sadat's military procession stopped in front of him and blew him away...all because of his yearning for peace. If all goes well for the Middle East and Egypt with no worldy reprecussions then the Sage will be the first to commend this effort but I will not halucinate and deny the obvious...as a liberal always does. The prophecies of the Great Sage are brought to you by Harry Stottle and the Stoned Philosopher's, The United Brotherhood of Broken Hearted Asshole's, The Kumbya Club for Disheartened Digresser's and The Crazy Caliphs of Mustafa's Madrassa.Inspirational support courtesy  of Browning and Winchester Arms, Ratheon Haliburton detection systems and Mattel, whose design of the M16 would not have been possible had it not been for the competetive instinct to counter Anytoli Klashnikov's design of the AK47 and AK74. All funding for the Sage's perfect prophecies originate solely within the Private Sector and is no way a parasite organization feeding off the tax payer. The ideology expressed in these blog entries have been proven to be accurate 94.3% of the time and in accordance with the unfolding of events world wide...the remaining 5.7% has yet to unravel but soon to be. Note...there is a 2% margin of error based solely on modesty factors as the humble nature of the Great Sage is such that being "Right" is not always easy.I am etc. The Great Sage

1. Sorry I repeated my last comment - too busy facing east to notice -
2. Muslems... the Persian Empire existed long before the Roman Empire -
3. Ever heard of Alexander the Great?
4. Your cynacism is depressing and boring
5. Just like the Boner's and McConnell's of the world you twist everything to suit your negative neo-con beliefs
Freeing Palestine would prove the best and smartest move ever made for the 'west' and the Middle East as the deplorable and unforgivable situation that occured to the Palestinian people prior to , during and since 1948 is the main reason for discontent among Arabs today and has created the foundations for what is labelled as terrorism but in all actuality is freedom fighting. Why are you and others like you so blinded to the realities of what was created by the actions of Britain, France and America at the UN on that frightful day? How easily you disregard the terror committed by the Jews (the bombing of the King David Hotel - just to name one act) in their fight for a homeland that never belonged to them in the first place. Wake up - forget the dogma and the propaganda to which you have been sucked up by and read history.
Despite the fact we will never agree on this issue it is good that we can communicate little Mr. Sage

You must have been facing East again with your last comment. The Persian Empire were not Arabs. Arabs did not come into existence until the mid to late 1st millennium. And you question my knowledge re. Alexander the Great? You're grasping at broken straws. And King Cyrus of Persia brought forth the first charter of human rights...I have great admiration for the ancient Babylonians but I do not have admiration for the current sect which has perverted the history of a once noble culture. The world's problems are with Arabs who hide behind a murderous religion financed with their oil. A religion that is nowhere as old as Jewish/Hebrew, Christianity, Gnostic or the Masonic order. The Roman and Persian Empire's  did have similarities in their political systems and actually enjoyed somewhat of an economic relationship...until Islam reared it's UGLY head.So you condone a nation's flag that displays an AK47 and is devoted to islam? Sounds sick to me. Is your throat as thick as your head? The Great Sage
